Hi! Welcome to Jaime D. Designs. Obviously I am Jaime. I am the owner, operator, designer, marketer, social media specialist and so on and so forth. I started JDD in October 2010. At the time, I wanted to make some money to be able to send my oldest to preschool the following Fall. Little did I know that things would take off from there!

Not only do I run JDD, but my most important job is being a wife and a mom. You won't see too many photos of my husband becasue he doesn't like having his picture taken. He's a mechanic in the US Navy, a wonderful father and a supportive husband. :)

This is my son Brian. He's a high spirited ball of energy. He definitely keeps me on my toes!

This is my other son Nathan. He's a strong fighter. He had to endure more in his first 3 years of life than any little boy ever should have to. Nathan was born with a birth defect called Craniosynostosis. It is the premature fusing of the skull's sutures. His doctor had never heard of it before. It occurs in about 1 in 2000 births. If it was left untreated it could have led to restricted brain and skull growth causing a lot of problems for him. He under went a 5 hour surgery at 10 months old to correct it. 3 weeks later he started pulling himself up finally and couch cruising! It was very exciting for us! In January of 2012, he underwent his second operation. We hope that this is his last! We are working to raise awareness. Many doctors and families have never heard of it and it often goes unnoticed and untreated. If you have any other questions feel free to email me.
